Theater of the absurdArkansas officer fired after using a taser on a 10-year old girl
A policeman in a small Arkansas town is fired after he used a taser gun to subdue an unruly 10-year old girl; the policeman used the stun gun after the girl kiced him “in the groin area”
The mayor of a small Arkansas town says the police officer who used a Taser on an unruly 10-year-old girl has been fired for not using the camera attached to the stun gun. Ozark mayor Vernon McDaniel said Monday that Officer Dustin Bradshaw was terminated, effective last Friday. The mayor said he received notice of Bradshaw’s firing on Monday morning.
KATV7 reports that according to a police report, Bradshaw used the Taser on the girl on 11 November after receiving a call about a domestic disturbance. The report says the girl’s mother gave Bradshaw permission to use the stun gun if he needed to.
The mother of the 10-year-old is defending the cop’s actions. Kelly King claims that Bradshaw only used the taser as a stun gun on her daughter Kiara Medlock. “If my child had been truly tased, I’d be the first person asking for the officer involved to be terminated and charged,” revealed King. “However, that is not what occurred.”
According to King, when Sheriff Bradshaw arrived at her home in Arkansas earlier this month, he was kicked in the groin area by her daughter and used the Taser as a stun gun for around a second to stop the child from hurting herself. The stun mode is intended to cause pain without incapacitating the person; no electrical current is discharged which voluntarily disrupt the control of the muscles.
King is now adamant that at no time were any were prongs or wires of the Taser on her child and that her daughter’s health, safety and well being, were always her primary concern.
The FBI amnnounced that it was takling over the investigation of the incident.
