CoreStreet wins Pentagon Force Protection Agency HSPD-12 contract

Cambridge, Massachusetts-based CoreStreet hardly requires any more attention, The company has been on our radar for some time now — typically involving its HSPD-12-related activities — and we have not been shy about trumpeting its success. Most recently, for instance, it was sent into service in Los Angeles as part of an effort to allow city security personnel to check seamlessly the I.D. cards of city employees and the many federal employees who work alongside them. Now we can report an additional success. CoreStreet has won a major contract from the Pentagon Force Protection Agency to deploy the PIVMAN system to control access at leased Department of Defense buildings and facilities in the Wasington, D.C. metropolitan area. “With the PIVMAN System, the Pentagon Force Protection Agency has a solution that is fully interoperable with all new government smart credentials,” said CEO Chris Broderick. “So, they can check any CAC, FRAC, or any of the other FIPS-201 cards, anywhere, anytime.”
