GSM version of CyberTracker available
Ashville, North Carolina-based Homeland Integrated Security Systems (OTC: HISC)has accepted delivery of the new GSM Cyber Trackers. The GSM version of the device will offer the same tracking and data technology of the IDEN model currently produced. The GSM version comes in two versions. One has an external antenna for permanent installations, while the second version has an internal antenna for portable applications. The GSM Cyber Tracker will be operable in all countries that have GSM networks, which is most of the countries around the world (there are about 70 million GSM customers in the United States through Cingular and T-Mobile, and about 350 million GSM customers worldwide). This is a decided advantage for homeland security applications, as the war on terror does not stop at the U.S. border. The company will soon add GPS capabilities to the device.
