ICRC delivers first responder vehicles to Michigan National Guard

On the road again. Alexandria, Virginia-based Integrated Concepts & Research Corporation (ICRC) has delivered to the Michigan National Guard three heavy duty first responder support vehicles. Built on the International MXT truck, the vehicle is the first implementation of ICRC’s national guard vehicle information system for interoperability and networking (NG-VISION), which integrates various sensors and software for rapid detection, identification and early warning capabilities. These include NBC detection software; interoperability with municipal, state, federal, and military radios; nighttime surveillance provided by pan and tilt lighting systems; and GPS navigation. Plug-and-play system flexibility will allow the incorporation of other technologies as they become available — including, or perhaps especially, non-lethal weapons.
