The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), the organization with responsibility for successfully delivering the London 2012 Olympic Games, is to make a significant investment in business continuity. The ODA is initially seeking to fill a new role of Business Continuity Planning Manager to drive the investment and to make appropriate plans to help ensure that the event is delivered on-time and then to ensure that the Games runs smoothly. Business Continuity Planning Manager — £75,000 + bonus + benefits allowance
This is a unique opportunity to influence the successful delivery of London 2012, the biggest, most complex and highest profile project in the United Kingdom for generations. With strong Business Continuity Management (BCM) experience, you wil start by developing a BCM strategy for the Olympic Delivery Authority to ensure Olympic venues are delivered on time for London 2012. Then you will join the London Organization Committee of the Olympic Games and use that knowledge to make certain that all events and ceremonies are delivered successfully.
With strong BCM or CM expertise and extensive crisis management experience you will make sure we a’re ready to work through any incident. That includes creating a flexible BCM strategy that can pass from the ODA to LOCOG, training staff and working with people at all levels to ensure recovery plans are in place.
