Terrahawk showcases its mobile surveillance vehicle

This Thursday Terrahawk, LLC will show off its Mobile Utility Surveillance Tower (MUST) to members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate along with their staffs.

With MUST, law enforcement agencies can quickly set up a mobile surveillance tower for emergency response, crowd control, or general surveillance.

Using an automatic hydraulic stabilization system, in less than two minutes a single operator can launch a vehicle-mounted elevated surveillance tower as high as twenty-five feet without ever having to leave the safety of the interior of the vehicle.

The tower comes equipped with a suite of sensors and cameras including ground radar, a thermal camera, communication equipment, a computing workstation, as well as air-conditioning.

In addition, the tower is capable of withstanding winds of up to forty miles per hour and can be outfitted with ballistic shields.

The portable surveillance vehicle has already been purchased by police departments across the United States and it has been deployed along the Texas border by several sheriff’s departments.

An undercover narcotics officer, who uses MUST along the U.S.-Mexico border, said, “We are using this unit basically for national security. We are watching to make sure the violence does not pour onto United States soil.”
